SUMMARY The Director of Compensation is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of the company's compensation programs, policies, and procedures. This role ensures that compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. The Director of Compensation will work closely with senior leadership, HR partners, and external consultants to design and execute effective compensation strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement comprehensive compensation strategies that support the organizations business objectives and talent management goals. Oversee the administration of all local, global, and executive compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, bonuses, and equity compensation. Recommend and implement changes to compensation programs based on market trends, business needs, and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations. Partner with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to understand business needs and develop compensation solutions. Prepare and present reports on compensation trends, competitiveness, and program effectiveness. Collaborate with HRIS team to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions, including configuration and acceptance testing. Plan and execute the annual merit/bonus cycle and assist HR and business areas in understanding their role, timelines, and support them with decision-making. Manage relationships with external vendors, such as compensation consultants and survey providers to support compensation decision-making. Partner with other members of the Human Resources team to integrate compensation programs with performance management processes, ensuring alignment between pay and performance. Partner with other members of the Human Resources team and business leaders on pay package recommendations that address business needs and attract, retain, and motivate top talent. Provide guidance and support to facilitate the professional growth and performance of the Compensation team. Protects the companys assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position supervises the Compensation team including the Senior Manager, Compensation and Compensation Analysts. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience. 10+ years of related experience; 3+ years of management experience.
