The Production Manager is responsible for the production of all field operations. You will be responsible for leading the activities of a more complex production environment, resolving issues, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Support Field Operations Team with mission to improve the value stream's execution, effectiveness, and efficiency for improved safety, and quality,
- Creating reports and records of production processes, tools issues performance; sharing them with managers and providing suggestions to improve safety, productivity and quality.
- Supervising and directing the daily activities of Field Operations workers, assigning tasks, ensuring coordination between different teams, ensuring their safety and monitoring their performance.
- Training new hires, managing scheduling and work conflicts, monitoring safety, and promoting internal communication to create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Operational lead for headcount planning
- Leads weekly business review, documenting follow up action, deliverables and due dates
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Operations Management, or similar field. Preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in operations or project management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Microsoft Suite.
- Accounting Software Systems (SAGE, etc.)
- Ability to learn and implement new software systems specific to the business.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Knowledgeable in quality management methods, tools, and techniques. Capable of developing and adhering to quality processes, applying continuous improvement practices, and using evaluation tools like walk backs and inspections to meet organizational quality goals.
- Extensive experience in using analytical techniques and tools to identify root causes and develop solutions. This includes identifying discrepancies, quantifying costs and benefits, breaking down complex problems, and selecting appropriate tools based on the situation.
- Proficient in planning and arranging tasks and resources methodically. This includes identifying bottlenecks, addressing conflicting priorities, monitoring progress, and creating action plans to ensure task completion.
- Extensive experience in evaluating product quality and production methods, with a focus on continuous improvement of processes, products, and services. This includes streamlining critical workflows, prioritizing process issues, developing improvement methods and controls, and coaching others to enhance their process improvement skills.
- Extensive experience in leadership and management processes, with the ability to lead, motivate, evaluate, and reward employees. This includes tailoring motivational efforts to individual needs, resolving conflicts, adjusting management styles, conducting performance evaluations and recommending improvement plans, planning departmental resources, and coaching others on talent management systems and processes.
- Extensive experience in field operations, with the ability to manage day-to-day activities. This includes monitoring adherence to policies, facilitating cross-departmental communication, evaluating risks and safety hazards, recommending industry benchmarks, supervising daily operations to meet targets, and using tools to anticipate demand and ensure capacity.
- Extensive experience in identifying work-related hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations to protect workers, the environment, and the site. This includes consulting on new safety tools and techniques, managing emergency response processes, promoting workplace safety, assessing and reporting hazards, and ensuring team compliance with safety policies.
