HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSIONThe Director of Content Development & Production is responsible for developing and executing content marketing strategies supporting the organization's mission of global conservation while achieving attendance and revenue targets for the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park. This involves working closely with a range of internal stakeholders, creating content to reach and motivate key target audiences, and overseeing the organization's content-related KPIs. This position reports to the Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.
WHAT YOU WILL DOWe are looking for a candidate who can act as an editor in chief developing and providing key themes and points of view for our various content channels (i.e., Journal Publication, Podcasting, New Books/Publishing, New Broadcast Show, etc.) as well as overseeing internal content production team.
