POSITION SUMMARY: As the Director of Creative Operations at alice and olivia you will play a crucial role in leading and optimizing the creative processes within the organization. You will oversee the coordination of creative projects, manage workflows, and collaborate withcross-functional teams and the founder to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of creative assets and manage creative projects from conception to implementation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and implement a strategic vision for the creative operations function aligned with the overall business objectives.• Provide leadership and direction to the creative operations team, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.• Oversee end-to-end creative processes, ensuring efficient workflows from concept to execution.• Conduct regular project management meetings, holding direct reports accountable for keeping deadlines, while influencing other stakeholders to support successful outcomes.• Improve the Creative Workflow process; efficient streamlining whilst maintaining the highest quality output.• Collaborate with creative teams, including designers, photographers, and stylists, to streamline processes and enhance creative output.• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for creative projects.• Coordinate with creative teams and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.• Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and sales, to align creative strategies with overall business goals.• Foster collaboration and communication across teams to ensure a seamless integration of creative assets into various channels.• Manage and allocate creative resources efficiently, including staffing, budgeting, and outsourcing when necessary.• Optimize resource utilization to meet creative demands while maintaining quality standards.• Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that creative assets meet brand standards and objectives.• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of creative work to drive continuous improvement.• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in creative technologies and tools.• Implement and optimize systems to enhance creative workflow efficiency.ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive experience in creative operations within the fashion industry.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Manage department capital and operating budgets.
- Should have robust network of photographers, stylists, producers, agencies, freelancers, etc.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of creative processes, from concept development to execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- $125,000 - $150,000 base salary (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NY - based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other AO employees.)
