We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Director of Cybersecurity Programs and Security Operations Center (SOC) to lead our cybersecurity initiatives and SOC operations. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's cybersecurity strategy while ensuring the efficient operation of our Security Operations Center. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, threat intelligence, and security operations, as well as strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.Oversee the daily operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC), including incident detection, response, and remediation.Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development.Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence analysis to enhance security posture.Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, CISA).Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security controls into business processes and technology initiatives.Oversee security awareness training programs to educate employees on best security practices.Manage security incident investigations, forensic analysis, and post-incident reporting.Engage with external cybersecurity communities, vendors, and law enforcement agencies to stay updated on emerging threats and best practices.Prepare and present security reports, metrics, and recommendations to executive leadership.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven experience managing Security Operations Centers (SOC) and cybersecurity programs.Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance regulations, and industry best practices.Hands-on experience with security technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, EDR, and vulnerability management tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or GIAC preferred.Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).Knowledge of DevSecOps, security automation, and zero-trust architectures.Incident response and digital forensics expertise.Ability to influence stakeholders and drive security initiatives across an organization.Why Join Us?
