Summary This individual will complete comprehensive assessment, histories, and evaluations of individuals referred for intake. Determine level of care and makes referrals for treatment based on procedures defined by State, County, managed care and Consortium requirements. Oversee and monitor transportation services, weekly report building and compiling statistical data Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Conducts and audits Recovery and Resiliency Plans (Assessments) Facilitates specialized groups including Orientation Groups (COP), TF-CBT Aftercare Groups, Parenting Groups (FREE) and LGBTQIA Groups. Conducts and expands Services for the various populations. Assists in the recruitment of therapist(s) that specialize in; Foster Care, Sexuality LGBTQIA, Grand family - Grandparents raising Grandchildren. Completes and processes all administrative forms related to assessment procedures including clinical forms, DAS's, termination/transfer, releases of information, and psychiatric hx records. Completes intake assessment audits for clinical content. Compiles weekly reports (i.e., weekly productivity report, Average Daily Census report, weekly intake report and others) as required. Oversees F.R.E.E. parenting program. Monitors enrollment census, coordinates workshops/speakers for sessions, submits services for billing and completes clinical documentation. Maintains clinical records including treatment plans, updates, progress notes and discharges in accordance with credentialing and licensing standards, managed care expectations, and agency policy and procedures. Works collaboratively with the Outpatient Director to ensure overall program quality and effectiveness. Provides backup support as needed. Assists with managing admissions and discharges Participates in an ongoing needs assessment and assists with Crisis Management for the unit. Assesses clients' need for emergency services. Applies for voluntary/involuntary hospitalizations as needed. Liaison w/ Psychiatrist, hospitals & CBH for hospitalizations Develops and facilitates staff training programs on specialty populations as scheduled. May participate in marketing efforts to educate community on availability of enhanced services at the Agency. Supervisory Responsibilities Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Enhanced Outpatient and the FREE parenting program. May directly supervise various non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Education and/or Experience Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred Other Qualifications Five years of direct care experience in mental health or addictions working with children and families Two years of relevant supervisory experience preferred Must be familiar with ICD-9 and DSM-4 categories Must be able to travel locally 25% of the time.
