DescriptionJob Overview: The Director of Environmental Services provides leadership and oversight of environmental services and waste management operations across the organization. This role focuses on providing personnel and sustainment support for environmental services and waste management operations in a safe, efficiency, environmentally responsible manner. The Director optimizes departmental efficiency and collaborates with senior leaders to support agency activities including, but not limited to, housekeeping services, office relocations, and support for special events.RequirementsQualifications: ? Strong leadership, planning, analytical, and communication skills.? Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, department heads, vendors, and community partners while upholding The Center for Discovery's philosophy.? Proficiency in facility maintenance, machinery upkeep, and repair.? Physical ability to manage heavy objects and work in various environments.? Vocational/technical certifications and valid NYS driver's license required.? Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and on-call availability.
