Tri-County Health Care Director of Facilities Management

Astera Health has a Director of Facilities Management opening to serve the Astera Health locations. The Director of Facilities provides operational oversight to facilities maintenance, safety and security, culinary services, environmental services, and bio-medical.

This position is full-time, 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Astera Health offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and retirement. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide vision, leadership, planning, and management for the development, implementation, and support of all Support Service departments.
  • Conduct oversight of construction projects and delivery service to ensure necessary regulatory needs are met by the organization.
  • Oversee the coordination and planning for inspections and audits.
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written skills with the ability to speak in front of groups, as well as listen, understand, and influence.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills with the ability to speak one-on-one with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to think critically.
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve conflict.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Possess strong computer skills, knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to build strong team relationships.
  • Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in facilities service management.
  • Minnesota 2nd Class C Boilers license.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the position.
