FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Facilities Management oversees all aspects of building services and operations for the company, ensuring smooth daily operations and alignment with GPC's strategic priorities – leading through change. This role includes managing vendor relationships, staffing facilities appropriately, and executing comprehensive facilities management programs.
Key responsibilities include ensuring facilities needs are proactively addressed, maintaining adherence to budgetary objectives, and implementing effective programs to optimize building operations. The Director plays a pivotal role in creating a well-functioning, hospitable environment that advances GPC's goals and vision as well as safety, security, and comfort for all GPC headquarters employees and guests. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will bring a mindset of customer service, accuracy and compliance, always driving for process efficiencies and excellence. We seek a Director Facilities Management with 10+ years of experience managing large facilities or multiple buildings, experienced with electrical, HVAC, security, and grounds maintenance.
This professional will bring five+ years of leadership experience with superior people skills, managing both internal staff and external vendors. We seek a candidate with strong technical knowledge in work order processes and systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Finally, the successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to define and communicate objectives, strong influencing and negotiation skills to effectively drive vendors and contractors to meet commitments.
