Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

The Director of Finance will have primary oversight of the accounting and financial operations of an outpatient addiction treatment program in a private equity-backed growth platform in healthcare. This individual will partner with the leadership team to develop and execute the company's strategic vision and planning while providing financial advice and counsel on day-to-day operating issues. The Director of Finance will play a key role in driving organic growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven track record of improving profitability and enhancing company value as a finance leader (e.g., divisional finance leader or senior finance executive).
  • Prior experience in a private equity-backed company is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to leverage financial planning and analysis to improve business outcomes.
  • A bachelor's degree is required; a CPA and/or MBA are preferred.
  • Healthcare industry experience required; experience in multi-site, clinic-based healthcare is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with a multiple payor environment, including private insurance, Medicaid, and commercial insurance. Knowledge of transition to value-based payments is a plus.
  • Experience driving growth initiatives in a fast-paced organization, with a focus on organic growth.
  • Ability to thrive in a smaller company environment where personal accountability and team collaboration are essential.
  • Background in reputable training environments such as Big Four accounting, investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance is advantageous.
  • Experience presenting to and interacting with boards, banks, and other stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare reimbursement dynamics and payer sources (government, commercial, private).
  • Appreciation for working in a private equity-backed environment with its unique pace, resource constraints, and growth opportunities.

JOB DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • Lead the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to drive operational decision-making.
  • Prepare and issue weekly and monthly financial reports for executive leadership, operations teams, and the Board.
  • Build an efficient and scalable finance and accounting organization to support significant organizational growth.
  • Oversee revenue cycle management processes, including billing and collections.
  • Collaborate with external IT resources to design, implement, and manage IT infrastructure that supports company growth and operations.
  • Manage long-term budgeting and financial planning processes to ensure alignment with company strategy and business goals.
  • Bring financial discipline by providing analytical tools and innovative thinking to help achieve business targets.
  • Work closely with private equity investors to optimize the company's capital structure in support of growth plans.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations while minimizing tax liability through effective corporate structuring and operations management. Ensure timely preparation and filing of all tax returns.
  • Foster a culture of positivity, accountability, respect, compliance, and continuous organizational improvement.
