Director of Food Service - Waldorf University : Job Details

Waldorf University is seeking a Director of Food Service. Reports to the Vice President of Plant & Ancillary Services. Hours vary based on scheduled events and staffing schedules, but include evenings and weekends as needed. This is a 12 month, benefit eligible position. Ideal candidate will be energetic, able to motivate staff, be creative, have the ability to improvise, and be service minded. Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Operational Oversight of All Aspects of the Campus Dining Program. Oversee, hire, and supervise the training of all dining staff to enforce adherence to policies and procedures for safe and proper food handling and use of the facility equipment, building and grounds. Coordinate and schedule assignments of team members and act as the point person for the department with students, faculty, staff and community.
