About the Role: We are seeking a Director of HR Technology to lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of HR technologies across a dynamic, fast-paced organization. This role blends hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership to ensure HR systems deliver a seamless employee experience and support data-driven decision-making. The Director will be responsible for HRIS management, systems integration, and people analytics to enhance HR operations, reporting, and compliance. This includes Workday HCM oversight, HR technology projects, and advanced people analytics frameworks to support the organization's long-term goals. This is a high-impact role for an experienced HR technology leader who thrives on transformation initiatives and building scalable HR solutions in collaboration with HR, IT, and business leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Technology Leadership:
- Oversee HR systems strategy and operations, including Workday HCM and other HR technology platforms.
- Lead system upgrades, implementations, integrations, and day-to-day maintenance to optimize system performance and enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with IT, HR leadership, and business stakeholders to drive HR technology improvements that support organizational goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor on HR system design, ensuring alignment with best practices and emerging trends in the HR tech space.
- Guide HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) on integrating technology solutions to support employee programs.
- People Analytics & Reporting:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive people analytics strategy, providing actionable insights to HR and business leaders.
- Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key HR metrics and support data-driven decision-making.
- Establish data governance policies to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and HR data security standards.
- HR Systems Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
- Lead HRIS projects to improve HR processes, enhance system capabilities, and streamline workflows.
- Partner with internal communications teams to drive change management and ensure HR technology messaging reaches employees effectively.
- Provide training and support to HR and business users on HR systems and analytics tools to maximize adoption and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience managing HR technology systems, with Workday HCM expertise required.
- Experience with other SaaS HCM platforms (e.g., Dayforce, UltiPro, Oracle Fusion) is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with Workday configuration and integrations, including BPs, notifications, EIBs, security, and custom reporting.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale HR technology projects across complex organizations.
- Deep understanding of HR processes, including payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, and performance management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
