Director of Information Security Operations - Huxley Associates : Job Details

Location: NYC or Dallas. OnsiteCompensation: ~200-240k base + bonusA leading shared services and private equity firm is looking for an Information Security Operations Manager to report to the CISO and to lead a team of security operations analysts and engineers while being responsible for building/maintaining security programs. They are looking for someone who has experience leading large SOC teams to help build out and grow their fuction, transitioning from using an MSSP to building it out in house.Responsibilities:Execute/maintain security monitoring/response, event handling, and other related programsOversee Security Operations team while also working with external SOC providerManage security events including monitoring/validation and responseLead threat hunting efforts and programOversee incident response framework and overall maturity of security operations proceduresVulnerability management/remediationMetrics reporting and presentation for key security operations metricsManagement of direct reports including coaching and performance managementRequirements:Bachelor's degree in CS, Infosec or related8+ years' experience in security operations with experience building and managing a Security Operations CenterExperience with Microsoft 0365 and azure; multi cloud environment experience preferredInformation security certifications such as CISSP or relatedUnderstanding of key security frameworks such as ISO270001, CIS, etc.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead a teamIf you are interested in joining a top organization in a leadership capacity, please apply to Shelley at Huxley.EOE Statement: Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
