Director of Information Technology - Robert Half : Job Details

Robert Half is partnering with an Austin based non-profit who is seeking a Director of IT Infrastructure, and Cyber Security. The role involves managing their IT infrastructure and cybersecurity program while leading the IT team. Your prime focus will be to safeguard their data and technological resources from threats and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervising IT operations including infrastructure management, project execution, quality control, change management, and network support.

• Design, launch, and upkeep of application systems.

• Managing the cybersecurity program aligned to company strategy, including policy making, standards, and incident response plans.

• Conducting risk evaluation, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing mitigation solutions.

• Overseeing security vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and remediation activities.

• Ensuring compliance with NIST regulations for data security.

• Leading response to cybersecurity incidents.

• Creating and delivering cybersecurity awareness training.

• Assessing third-party vendors based on their cybersecurity competencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• 10 years' extensive experience in the field of information technology.

• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.

• Expert knowledge on modern cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities and attack tactics, with the ability to foresee emerging trends and formulate proactive protection strategies.

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
