Director of Information Technology - Glocap Tech : Job Details

• Experience managing third-party IT service providers
• White glove IT support for employees
• Well versed in Windows 10/11
• Deep understanding of Microsoft ActiveDirectory services - DHCP, DNS, GPO
• Experience managing Office 365, Exchange Online, and Entra
• Experience working on cloud platforms e.g. Azure & AWS
• Experience with all aspects of a VDI environment
• Pure SAN management and administration experience
• Microsoft Intune Mobile Device Management or similar MDM management experience
• Experience with WSUS for Microsoft patch deployment
• Some software packaging and deployment experience
• Some knowledge of SQL - comfortable enough to deploy scripts, adjusting permissions, etc.
• Familiarity with financial applications such as Bloomberg, Geneva, Eze Software, Bipsync
• Backup and archive experience both on premise and cloud based
• Video/Audio conferencing management more specifically with Crestron/Teams/Zoom
• Other tasks as required

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required with relevant work experience in Information Technology, Information Science, Information Systems Management.
• 10+ years of experience in Information Security
• 5+ years working in a highly regulated environment; finance industry preferred
• A highly motivated, self-starter with demonstrable problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong focus on customer service
• Solid understanding of IT Security principles in a business setting
• Ability to work flexible hours including hour and weekend changes and on-call support as required
