Furthermore, as Senior Director, it is essential to lead and encourage the workforce to reach new heights, all while implementing the company's policies and regulations, including its vision and mission.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a forward-looking IT strategy aligned with the company's growth and business goals.
- Oversee IT operations, including infrastructure, software, networks, and cybersecurity, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Mentor and develop an IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead end-to-end software development efforts, from concept to deployment and optimization.
- Implement agile and DevOps practices to enhance efficiency and adaptability in software delivery.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure IT solutions address business needs and exceed expectations.
- Evaluate and implement AI/ML solutions, data analytics, and cloud technologies to drive business value.
- Stay ahead of technology trends to ensure the company remains competitive and relevant.
- Identify opportunities for digital transformation across all business functions.
- Maintain, audit, and continuously improve security management for the company's computer systems and networks, including software, hardware, and telecommunications.
- Monitor and proactively mitigate cybersecurity risks.
- Understand and familiar with DOD's cybersecurity requirements (CMMC Certification)
- Ensures the management of security for the physical networks.
- Develop, recommend, and administer information technology policies and procedures; audit information system use for compliance.
- Oversees the management of IT staff, budget, and infrastructure to ensure efficient and effective operations as it relates to technology services.
- Directs the evaluation of various hardware, software, infrastructure, equipment needs, and service resources to identify strengths, weaknesses and potential benefits fit for the company
- Develops and implements policies and procedures related to information systems hardware and software acquisitions, programming standards, communications, and other support projects.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
- Identify opportunities to optimize technology spending and maximize ROI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 7-10+ years of IT leadership experience, with a track record of leading technology teams and projects.
- Hands-on experience in software development, architecture, and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, DevOps).
- Strong understanding of AI/ML, cloud platforms, and data analytics tools.
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity practices and data privacy regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
