Position Overview
The Director of Investor Relations & Capital Raiser will lead efforts to cultivate and manage investor relationships and secure capital for real estate funds and syndications. This role is pivotal, combining expertise in fundraising, relationship management, and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute capital-raising strategies targeting high-net-worth individuals, family offices, institutional investors, and accredited investors.Lead investor outreach and cultivate leads through relationship development and compelling presentation of opportunities.Present company strategy, financial models and market insights to potential investors.Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.Partner with the executive team to refine equity strategies and integrate investor feedback.Investor Relations
Act as the primary point of contact for current and potential investors, providing performance updates and developing / maintaining trust.Organize investor meetings, webinars, and site visits to strengthen relationships.Establish investor relations policies and procedures to ensure efficient and economic delivery of quality investor communications.Develop professional marketing collateral, including pitch decks and reports.Market Research & Strategy
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to enhance fundraising strategies.Align capital-raising initiatives with the company's strategic objectives.Compliance & Documentation
Ensure investor communications comply with all relevant regulations.Maintain accurate records in the Company's CRM system of investor interactions, commitments, and reporting requirements.Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in capital raising, investor relations, or a similar role within real estate, private equity, or related industries.Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field (MBA preferred).Network: Established connections with accredited investors and/or institutional entities.Skills:Exceptional communication, relational, presentation, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in financial modeling, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical abilities.Manage competing priorities and diverse, intense workload.Attributes:Results-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to excellence.Active listener.Demonstrate self-confidence with executive team and investors.What We Offer
