Director of IT and Business Analytics - Tempest Energy, LLC : Job Details

We are seeking an innovative and strategic Director of IT and Business Analytics to lead our organization in leveraging technology and data to drive operational efficiency, strategic decision-making, and business growth. This role combines leadership in IT infrastructure and business analytics with a focus on building cross-departmental collaboration and ensuring organizational resilience. The Director of IT and Business Analytics will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Analytics Leadership and Strategy
• Design and oversee the development of data analytics frameworks, tools, and dashboards to support organizational goals and initiatives.
• Lead efforts to enhance data collection, management, and governance processes to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and security.
• Analyze business trends, performance metrics, and operational data to guide decision-making and optimize processes.
• Champion the adoption of advanced analytics methodologies to improve forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning.

IT Leadership and Strategy

• Oversee the management and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
• Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, technology migrations, and the implementation of new solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee budgets for IT-related services and products.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans to safeguard organizational assets.

General Leadership and Strategy

• Build and lead a high-performing IT and analytics team, fostering a culture of professional growth and innovation.
• Set clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for IT and analytics functions, aligned with organizational objectives.
• Promote collaboration across IT, analytics, and other departments to drive innovation, efficiency, and seamless integration of technology and data solutions.
• Develop and oversee business continuity strategies to minimize disruptions and maintain operational resilience.

Qualifications
