About the Director Position: LCFC is seeking a full-time, experienced, and well-organized Director to manage and advance various aspects of the Foundation's work. The Director will oversee the day-to-day operations and implementation of LCFC's nonprofit ecosystem strategy and tools. This role is dedicated to strengthening Latino-serving nonprofit infrastructures through capacity building and leadership development while supporting partnership programs with institutions for systems change.

Key responsibilities include advancing LCFC's mission and strategic goals by designing and incorporating community-centered practices through its programs. They will oversee grant distribution, program budgets, and ongoing program evaluation, ensuring all reporting requirements are met. Additionally, this role will manage grantee and program-related meetings and convenings.

The Director will supervise at least one direct report and interface regularly with departments across the Foundation and project-specific consultants and contractors.

This position is ideally suited for a seasoned professional with a deep commitment to community empowerment, fostering collaboration and partnership, and creating a significant, positive impact on communities. The role will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Community Innovation and Strategic Partnerships.

Program Management:

• Design, manage and implement nonprofit ecosystem strategies.
• Manage the daily program operations including capacity building program (Adelante) and system change partnership program (Power Together).
• Identify and vet qualifying organizations serving communities of color for the Colorado Community of Color Loan Fund (CCLF) and close out of Nonprofit Infrastructure Grant Program (NPI).
• Collaborate with LCFC leadership and the program team on annual plans/timelines, program activities, outputs, and scopes of work for contracts with partnering institutions.
• Maintain and track program budgets and expenditures.

Grantmaking Oversight:

• Work with LCFC leadership to develop action investing/grantmaking approach and investments that align with ecosystem strategy and tools.
• Partner with LCFC leadership to develop RFPs and selection processes and evaluation strategies that align with LCFC values and community-centered practices and needs.
• Oversee grant agreements, disbursements, and reporting requirements for LCFC work collaboratively with Finance to ensure compliance.
• Support external reporting and work collaboratively with the Development team to maintain strong relationships with ecosystem program funders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a manager/director position
• Interest in partnering with diverse communities and leaders to advance their work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize and stay on task, yet remain nimble and responsive to evolving priorities and needs.
• Highly organized with a methodical/systematic work approach.
• Analytical person who works quickly and effectively with multiple tasks across multiple projects.
• Technology skills and troubleshooting ability, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams), Google Applications, management database software and webinar/videoconferencing tools.
• Strong aptitude for learning new and/or specialized software programs.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels. Skilled at building relationships, working collaboratively in a team, and communicating clearly and directly.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives.
• Demonstrated passion for community development and making a positive impact on society.
• Positive, can-do attitude and good sense of humor.

Required Experience

• Job history includes program/project design, management, implementation, and budget management.
• History of working with philanthropic, nonprofit organizations or government sector preferred.

Education/Experience: Program/Project design, management, and development at an organization; AA or BA/BS a plus.

POSITION STATUS, SCHEDULE, SALARY & BENEFITS

Position Status: This is a full-time, at-will, exempt position.

Schedule : Flexible hybrid work approach. Some evenings and weekends will be required.

Salary : Starting salary range is $75,000 to $90,000 depending on experience and relevant skills.
