Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe Director of Logistics is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and ongoing optimization of logistics and distribution processes. This role will develop, implement, and oversee the management of assets, including technology devices, fleet vehicles, security systems, building access controls, and other related visual and electronic tools, ensuring efficient and reliable operations across senior living campuses. Additional responsibilities include supporting the identification and implementation of technologies that enhance organizational goals, logistics efficiency, and operational effectiveness as needed. Pay: $80,000 - $100,000 Responsibilities
- Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals.

- Responsible for on-call services, as assigned.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the management, distribution, and tracking of organizational assets, such as fleet vehicles, security systems, door access controls, and communication systems.
- Lead the Mobile Device Management program to ensure effective inventory tracking, assignment, recycling, and cost optimization.
- Oversee and manage the Fleet Car Program, focusing on operational efficiency, quality, and cost management.
- Develop and execute Enterprise Call Center to monitor and dispatch communications to incorporated locations and stakeholders.
- Establish and promote sustainable practices to reduce waste and improve resource utilization.
- Ensure readiness for emergency logistics to maintain uninterrupted care and services. Maintain processes to provide real-time situational awareness, threat intelligence, and integrated response and collaboration across the enterprise allowing security and risk stakeholders to better mitigate or eliminate the impact of critical events to the organization.
- Familiarity with IT systems and tools that support logistics operations, such as asset management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Ability to support the implementation of corporate technology initiatives.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data security compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
- Experience collaborating with IT teams or vendors for system implementation, upgrades, or troubleshooting.
- Actively promote effective communication and collaboration across departments.
- Align logistics strategies with corporate goals to enhance service delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Performs other duties, as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Equivalent experience may substitute for a degree.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in logistics, including leadership roles.
- Preferred certifications: Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD), Project Management (PMP) or Information Technology related.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic logistics plans.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and team-building abilities.
- Familiarity with healthcare or senior care IT systems preferred
