They are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable DOM to join their team and be a part of their growing success!SUMMARY:The Maintenance Director is the direct liaison to the FAA, state and customer.Overall responsibility for every function of maintenance and enforces adherence to the RSM and QCM (repair station manual and quality control manual) as required by the FAA.Corporate Jett experience preferred.ESSENTIAL DUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES :Hire personnel with proper qualifications and maintaining proper staffing levelBuild a Team environment ensuring all reports feel valuedEnsure the growth of the repair station by analyzing potential work and revising the repair station capability list as requiredTracking of individual training records and training needsDeveloping and providing additional training necessary to grow the repair stationEnsure adherence to RSM personnel requirements sectionConduct daily briefs with employees, making sure they are on track with timeline and do not have an issue that may preclude them in performance of their dutiesSchedules maintenance personnel hours to maintain efficient operations of maintenance departmentInspect facility routinely so that it continues to meet FAA 145 guidelinesScheduling and tracking maintenance including outside customersPerform maintenance according to 135 operations manual if Repair Station serves 135 operationPerform aircraft work in accordance with Maintenance Manual and the RSM/QCM.Complete ALL documentation prior to release of aircraft (including):Maintenance hours have been properly trackedAll parts have been accountedIndividual work items have been signed by both the performer of maintenance and the chief inspectorAircraft paper logs or computer-based logs have been updatedFAA Regulatory forms submitted if/as requiredCustomer has been fully briefed on what work was performed and if it will have any effect on control of the aircraftEnsure invoices are paid in full prior to release of aircraftMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Airframe & Power plant CertificatesWilling and able to work varied hours and schedules, as requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent15 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with 5 years of aircraft maintenance management experienceMust possess a valid driver's licenseMust possess strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Associate's degree or higherAdditional related training or technical school education2 years FAR 145 Quality Assurance Maintenance experienceBENEFITS:Employee Medical Insurance, Basic Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Vacation and Sick Time, Paid Holidays, HSA Account Funding, 401k Match, Buy-up Medical Insurance, Dental, Vision, Optional Life Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Account, 401kSalary is based on experience.Interested?
