FoundersCard is seeking a Director of Member Analytics to lead our data reporting, integrity, and visualization efforts. This is a critical role responsible for monitoring and optimizing all key performance indicators (KPIs) related to member retention, trial conversion, ARPU, and customer acquisition efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner in driving business decisions, proactively identifying trends, and holding key stakeholders accountable for performance.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting:
- Own and maintain all analytics dashboards and reports, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility across the organization.
- Rigorously monitor and analyze KPIs including member retention, trial conversion, ARPU, and customer acquisition efficiency.
- Utilize business intelligence tools such as Looker or Tableau to create data visualizations that drive informed decision-making.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data efficiently.
- Ensure high standards of data integrity, working closely with the engineering, product, and operations teams to maintain accurate and reliable datasets.
- Analysis & Strategy:
- Maximize member retention and alumni reactivations by leveraging insights to segment and personalize tactics, collaborating with product, marketing, and operations.
- Use predictive analytics to identify potential cancellations based on usage patterns and customer engagement, implementing proactive measures to retain at-risk members.
- Identify trends, run deep and impactful analyses, and proactively provide strategic recommendations.
- Develop a culture of data-driven decision-making, ensuring key business leaders have the intelligence they need to optimize performance.
- Partner with stakeholders across marketing, product, and operations to democratize access to data and enhance analytics proficiency within the organization.
- Design and implement robust data transformation processes—including data cleansing, normalization, and aggregation—to support advanced analytics and accurate reporting.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, consulting, or a related field, preferably within a consumer subscription business.
- Expertise in Looker or Tableau, with a proven ability to build impactful dashboards and data visualizations.
- Advanced SQL skills, capable of writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
- Experience working cross-functionally to drive accountability and business results.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach—this is not a traditional “order-taking” analytics role; we are seeking a proactive, strategic thought partner.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
What we Offer:
- Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
- Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
- Professional development and career growth opportunities.

- This role is in-office 4 days per week. Our office is in Midtown Manhattan.
