Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Director of National Accounts to oversee and manage our national client portfolio. This leadership role requires strategic oversight, fostering strong relationships with key accounts, and driving revenue growth across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing national accounts within the construction or facilities management industry and the ability to fit seamlessly into our company culture. A deep understanding of national account management, team leadership, and collaboration across departments is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for managing and growing national accounts within the construction or facilities management sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within large, national accounts.
- Lead a team of account managers to ensure client needs are met and performance targets are achieved.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and operations to ensure a unified approach to client management.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and clients, showcasing performance metrics and growth strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform strategy adjustments.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to account management staff.
- Ensure the timely and effective resolution of client issues and concerns.
- Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in national account management, business development, or a leadership role within the construction or facilities management industries.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing large, complex accounts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and lead a team to achieve ambitious business goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
