*Unique opportunity for an experienced Director of Occupational Therapist seeking the next step in their career!* Blue Sea Educational Consulting is a dynamic company comprised of a Professional Collaborative, bringing together diverse professions such as education, psychology, social work, behavior intervention, speech, occupational and physical therapies, and the law. We have an immediate need for a Senior Occupational Therapist/Field Supervisor to provide clinical support to our Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy teams while also maintaining a modest field caseload. Our providers work collaboratively to serve school-aged children in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. A strong candidate will be able to supervise COTAs and junior clinicians, revise/QA reports, maintain AOTA professional development status, and be reasonably flexible with time and travel. Work location will be a combination of office and field hours. Compensation competitive and commensurate with experience. *Position Description:* • Provides evaluation and treatment services to school aged students • Interviews Occupational and Physical Therapy candidates to grow and expand our clinical capabilities • Identifies appropriate cases for providers based on clinical skill set • Manages Occupational and Physical Therapy service providers during the course of the school year, ensuring deliverance of sufficient mandate fulfillment and annual review reports are revised and submitted to districts in a timely manner • Builds rapport with key stakeholders (independent contractors, school districts) to enhance company growth *Requirements:* · Valid NY State Occupational Therapist License and Registration · Minimum of 5 years of school-based experience*Status: *1099 (Independent Contractor Status) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Professional development assistance * Retirement plan * Tuition reimbursement * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * No nights * No weekendsEducation: * Master's (Required) Experience: * School experience: 4 years (Required) Ability to Commute: * Smithtown, NY 11787 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Smithtown, NY 11787: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
