Our client, an established apparel brand, is looking for a highly motivated Director of Operations to join their team in NY!

This role will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing inventory accuracy, and ensuring seamless communication between cross-functional teams, overseas vendors, and warehouse operations to meet account deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the shipment of containers from overseas vendors to the U.S. warehouse.
• Track shipments, validate shipping documents, and resolve discrepancies.
• Update AMT order tracking system and provide timely status reports.
• Ensure warehouse receipts are accurate and issue chargebacks for shortages.
• Manage invoice verification and coordinate with Finance for payments.
• Communicate with the sales team on delivery extensions.
• Generate work orders for reworking goods at the warehouse.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Logistics/Operations roles within wholesale apparel.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
• Ability to work full-time on site.
