Job Description :
Castlewood Apparel Corp, a leading men's and women's apparel importer, is seeking a Director of Operations NYC midtownDuties include but not limited to:
  • Oversee and optimize daily operations and month-end closings, focusing on inventory management/allocation, order fulfillment, and warehouse communication to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Lead the management of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to enhance order processing, inventory tracking, and data accuracy; and run reports for all departments as necessary.
  • Manage the end-to-end process for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions, ensuring seamless integration with retail partners and adherence to industry standards.
  • Oversee Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) processes, ensuring accurate and timely communication with warehouses, retailers, and distributors.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse teams to streamline communication regarding order status, inventory levels, and shipment schedules.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and logistics, to align operational processes with business goals and customer needs.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order fulfillment, inventory management, and warehouse efficiency, reporting on performance to executive leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Must have 5+years' experience
  • A good understanding of the Apparel Industry
  • Expertise in ERP Systems, specifically AMT a plus
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word
  • Very detail-oriented individual who works well under pressure
  • Ability to understand all EDI, including but not limited to 850, 856, and 810 documents; troubleshoot any EDI order discrepancies
  • Strong communication with an ability to build relationships internally/externally and resolve issues
  • Ability to work independently with a desire to work in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Monday through Thurs On-site 8:30 am - 5:00 pmFriday Remote 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
