Director of Operations - Avion Hospitality : Job Details

Job Type Full-time Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Operations to join our team. The Director of Operations will be responsible for managing the hotel's overall operation in partnership with the General Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of maintaining established cost and quality standards, maximizing profits, developing and retaining employees, and exceeding guest expectations. Responsibilities: - Manage the overall operation of the hotel in partnership with the General Manager - Examine, analyze, and evaluate operations of assigned hotels to ensure adherence to company and franchise standards and policies - Create financial reports and interpret and analyze business records/statistical reports - Assist the sales force in developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies - Develop and retain employees to ensure a high level of service and guest satisfaction - Maximize profits through effective cost management and revenue generation - Ensure that all hotel operations are in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations Requirements Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field - At least 4 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. - Strong financial acumen and experience creating financial reports and analyzing business records/statistical reports - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively with the General Manager and other members of the hotel management team - Strong leadership skills and ability to develop and retain employees - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities - Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to hotel operations We are an equal-opportunity employer and welcome all qualified candidates to apply.
