We are always on the gas and seeking dynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals to join our extraordinary team.Job SummaryThis vital position is responsible for strategic and operational excellence in managing all Value Stream Manufacturing, Safety, Facility & Maintenance activities. Responsibilities include developing and leading an engaged workforce, ensuring compliance with all company policies, maintaining a safe work environment, meeting production schedules and standards in accordance with customer requirements, ensuring quality procedures are adhered to, maintaining optimum production at the least possible cost, defining problem areas and other areas for improvement, and implementing solutions with a strong bias to action.Essential Job FunctionsLead, manage, and hold team accountable to organization policies and procedures. Coach, mentor, develop and grow direct reports.Create a great place to work through developing first class leaders and driving a culture of continuous improvement, safe working environment and open dialogue.Foster an environment that aligns with Sportech's core beliefs and values and builds upon a culture that is in service to our people and community.Visible and engaged leadership style that empowers and promotes involvement, communication, clear expectations, accountability, and a passion for excellence.Active and visible change agent, promoting flexible and open mindsets to new opportunities.Ensure that direct reports are driving daily accountability actions through the standard process and recognize accomplishments daily.Lead the sites overall manufacturing and facility operations initiatives, facilitating the achievement of operational goals for People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost targets & meeting customer commitments.Demonstrated personal commitment to Safety and leading safety processes to sustain a safe work environment.Ensure that quality procedures & standards are adhered to in order to meet requirements of the finished product and uphold our brand promise.Responsible for implementing and sustaining a metric driven culture where data is used to monitor performance and drive decisions to optimize operations and exceed customer expectations.Ensure the disciplined execution of Daily Management through the conscientious adherence to Leader Standard Work, 5S, Tiered Boards (metrics/KPIs), and workforce agility (cross training), etc.Accountable for the overall budget and financial performance of manufacturing operations.Drive lean transformation and ensures that the concept of lean principles  are in force throughout manufacturing in support of the Operational goals.Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing procedures equipment in collaboration with CI, Engineering, and QualityMonitor capacity vs. load for key manufacturing processes for the Value Stream (equipment and people). Lead efforts to expand capacity to support shifts in customer demand.Collaborate with VP of Operations and Leadership Team in the development of performance goals, long-term operational plans, operational efficiency, and increased productivity.Establish manufacturing strategies, footprint and space planning needed to support business growth and customer requirements effectively and efficiently.Lead and follow EOS guidelines for departmental meeting cadence including the cascading of messages to the entire operations organizational structure.RequirementsBachelor's degree required; MBA preferred, (experience will be considered in lieu of degree)10+ years manufacturing leadership experience requiredThermoforming, injection molding, complex assembly or experience in related manufacturing processes requiredProcess and results driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and leadership developmentExcellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and established relational strengthsDemonstrated ability to lead, motivate teams, resolve conflict, and act as an agent of changeProactive mindset along with a strong bias to action#J-18808-Ljbffr
