Blue Hour is looking for an experienced leader to oversee operations and project management at Blue Hour. You will lead operations initiatives for our properties, working directly with our on-site properties managers, contractors and vendors to ensure efficient property operations, implement new property technology solutions, and onboard new properties.

You will also lead project management for newly acquired properties, driving forward renovation projects and ensuring seamless property openings. Over time, you will be responsible for building out the operations team and will work hand-in-hand with the acquisitions team to guide the strategic and creative direction of Blue Hour.

The right candidate will draw from their consulting, finance, real estate, or operations experience(s), to tackle initiatives and challenges in an entrepreneurial workplace. This is an opportunity to step into a highly impactful role and drive the growth of an emerging business.

Responsibilities:

Operations

o Create operating playbook for Blue Hour property management, leveraging onsite managers and technology to implement SOPs, property systems, and quality controls

o Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and business partners to ensure efficient property operations

o Serve as the point of contact with employers and tenants, and travel to properties periodically throughout the year

Project Management

o Oversee new property renovation projects, managing relationships with general contractors, design teams, architects, and other critical parties, to ensure timely completion

o Manage ongoing capex budget, timeline, and punch list

o Transition and /or identify new property vendors, contractors, partners, and other business contacts to ensure seamless property openings

Qualifications:

o 3+ years in consulting, finance, real estate, or operations

o Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously while working on short timelines

o Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, specifically to take initiative and run with a project

o Comfortable operating in ambiguity to solve problems that have not been solved previously and establishing new processes

o Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with external parties

o Ability to travel to employers and properties

o Eager to work in an entrepreneurial environment and build a company / brand

o Highly organized with excellent written, communication, and negotiation skills

o Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
