IEM has offices in California, Florida, Canada and Belgium.PURPOSE OF POSITION: We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Director of People Experience & Performance to join our growing team and Company. This pivotal role will drive our efforts in developing and retaining top talent while ensuring a positive and engaging employee experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with a focus on creating and implementing strategies that enhance the overall employee journey. RESPONSIBILITIES:Employee Experience:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive engagement strategy that aligns with IEM's mission, values, and goals.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to ensure the engagement strategy is reflected appropriately in HR practices, programs, and interactions.
- Foster a culture of engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement throughout the employee life cycle by implementing initiatives to enhance satisfaction, retention, and overall well-being, including but not limited to quarterly engagement events and year-end events
- Lead/develop recognition programs that encourage and reward high performance and contributions to the organization.
- - Develop and manage employee surveys, focus groups, and other feedback mechanisms to gauge engagement and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze data to identify trends and insights, and propose actionable recommendations to enhance the overall employee experience.
- Continuously evaluate and refine engagement initiatives to keep them relevant and impactful.
- Establish and chair a committee of culture and engagement ambassadors dedicated to advancing our workplace culture in alignment with IEM's growth and values.
- Establish corporate diversity policies, procedures, and lead all aspects of the diversity programs.
- Build collaborative relationships and strategic alliances with internal and external individuals, organizations and constituencies that are important to IEM diversity objectives.
Performance Management:
- Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
- Collaborate closely with key leaders and cross-functional partners to implement performance management initiatives and programs across lines of business.
- Ensure performance management programs and products managed are aligned with our talent philosophy and seamlessly integrated into HR technology, tools, and practices, including the HRIS and people support functions.
- Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of performance management programs and make data-driven decisions.
- In collaboration with HR leadership, oversee and build succession planning and career pathing initiatives to ensure organizational readiness for future growth.
Collaboration and Partnership:
- Work closely with colleagues in Talent Development, Compensation, People Operations, and Legal to implement holistic solutions that enhance the employee experience.
- Collaborate with regional HR partners to ensure alignment of engagement initiatives across global locations.
- Ensure a clear communication strategy is set for any talent programs or products you manage; ensure specific communications are delivered just in time with the clarity needed for the targeted audience.
- Provide coaching and support to leaders at all levels to ensure they are equipped to foster a positive employee experience.
- Partner with senior leadership to embed engagement and performance management principles into management practices.
- Performs other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other relevant field.
- 7-10 years of experience in human resources, employee engagement, talent management, or organizational development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in designing and executing employee engagement strategies and managing performance management processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
- Ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budgetary guidelines.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and performance management systems.
- Strong group facilitation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
