Position Overview:We are seeking a seasoned Director of Production to lead our talented team of producers. This is a unique opportunity to oversee the production of AAA games and contribute to the strategic direction of our studio. If you are a business-minded leader with a passion for gaming and a proven track record in mid-sized to large studios, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 9 producers, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality games.
- Oversee 2 Production Managers transitioning to individual contributor roles.
- Make strategic decisions on game development, costs, and revenue.
- Identify and address potential challenges to ensure smooth production processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in the video game industry.
- Proven experience in AAA game production.
- Background in mid-sized to large studios (no tiny studio or self-employed candidates).
- Director to Executive level experience.
- Strong business acumen and decision-making skills.
