Director of Program Management

We are seeking a Director of Program Management to implement and champion a strategic program management system across multiple business units acquired over a 20 year span. The system will be used to monitor program performance, and deliver critical feedback to the wider organization to improve efficiency and project execution. As a director of program management, your job duties will include overseeing the program management team, coordinating related projects, and finding solutions that improve performance at all levels within the company.

This is a senior-level position and you will be expected to take ownership and be accountable for creating, organizing and implementing the strategies and business programs in an organization. You will be responsible for making sure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in medical device development, contract manufacturing, systems focused, have strong persuasion and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize execution over strict rule following. You will reside in the northeastern USA with the ability to be on site on the north shore of Massachusetts semi-regularly.

You will need:

• The proven ability to implement an international PMO system
• A bachelor's or master's degree, engineering, business administration, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in project or program management.
• 8+ years of experience in a medical device manufacturing environment
• Experience with Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO),
• Background in Injection mold tooling, extrusion tooling, component manufacturing with plastic/silicone and injection molding/extrusion experience
• Experience with Product Development of all class devices (I – III) from innovation to manufacturing
• International experience with global customers, international vendors and global Project Management Office (PMO) groups

Travel requirements: 30%
