The Director of Programming Operations is responsible for the delivery of guest services and youth programming within the Spooky Nook Sports Ohio facility. Ensuring programs are scheduled, forecasted, and communicated to the guest services department and all necessary shareholders is critical of this role. Essential Job Functions
- Lead the sports guest services team and ensure policies and procedures are followed in a consistent manner.
- Provide necessary guest service training in the areas of customer service, conflict management, emergency procedures, etc.
- Communicate business operations information to guest service team and all others who need the information.
- Ensure bookings for space are complete and accurate for the daily operations of the complex.
- Assist in the creation of budgets for the guest services and youth programming teams.
- Develop, plan, and execute youth programming and summer camps.
- Develop leadership and hourly team members in the youth programming and guest service departments.
- Train all sports complex team members in the use of Nook booking software.
- Continuously gather feedback on application systems and develop a system to ensure operating unit feedback is addressed by vendors.
- Ensure requested information is provided to guests and customers in a timely manner by guest services and program teams.
- Develop and create a library of reports from the application systems that are critical to business success.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have dependable transportation to and from work
- Ability to read, speak and understand the English language
- Previous customer service experience within a sports venue
- Minimum 2 years of application experience related to the operation of a hospitality/recreation/sports venue
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business or another related field
- Experience working with reporting, reservations, payment, or related enterprise level software
- Language skills: Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communication
- Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with any reasonable accommodations as necessary
- Availability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an industry such as hospitality, recreation, or sports
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software systems with strong working knowledge of Excel
- Highly dependable with a history of consistent attendance and punctuality

Working Conditions
- Required to work rotating shift including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work in combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions
- Physical requirements necessary include walking, standing, bending, lifting and sitting for long periods of time
- Long periods of time working in front of a computer screen
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
