JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Programs will provide leadership and direction to the Programs department ensuring programs are effectively and efficiently managed (budget, schedule, resources) from initial customer requirements through end user delivery; identify, research, evaluate, negotiate and consummate new business opportunities in accordance with Nammo's specialization in various ordnance manufacturing capabilities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Develop, implement and manage the production and project scheduling system and technical and operational performance of specific manufacturing programs 2. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develop solutions to program problems and directs work of incumbents assigned to the program from various departments 3. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget 4. Establish and maintain best documented practices for optimal program management 5. Assists in preparation of proposals, plans, specifications and financial conditions (estimates at completion) of contracts 6. Oversees Program subordinates in their function as a liaison between the various functional departments to ensure open communication between parties aimed at accomplishing the program work on time and within budget; and to ensure their participation in reviewing all contractual changes 7. Act as a company point of contact with customer and participate in Integrated Product Teams, comprised of customer and company representatives 8. Provide periodic Program Status Reviews to Senior Management and Customers 9. Other duties as assigned 10. Identify, research, evaluate, negotiate and consummate new opportunities for ongoing program development. 11. Establish and develop ongoing relationships with current and prospective customers and partners 12. Proposal management - must be able to understand DoD proposals, and be proficient to preparation and writing various proposal sections13. Ensures the responsibilities of the position are carried out in accordance with the Company's policies, empowerment and decision interaction requirements, operating and performance standards, and ethical and professional values.14. Maintain good employee relations, and adhere to our Affirmative Action Plan, Labor Laws and EEOC rules and regulationsKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: 1. B.S. Degree in Engineering field preferred 2. A minimum of ten years in the field or related area, of which, three to fiveyears must be within DoD related explosive and/or ammunition related areas. 3. Demonstrated ability to manage program managers, develop and train others

Must be able to submit to and pass a drug test on a random basis 2. Must have good vision (may be corrected) 3. Must have no known hearing loss (may be corrected) 4. Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods of time 5. Must have a valid driver's license in good standing and the ability to travel frequently, including international locations 6. Must be able to endure temperature and weather extremes 7. Must be able to endure fumes that are within OSHA accepted standards 8. Must have stamina to work more than 8 hours when needed 9.
