We are looking for a high-performing Director of Sales & Marketing to join our award-winning hospitality team. Your sales leadership and expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our guests enjoy an unforgettable stay. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Sales director responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Sales director duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends. The ideal candidate will have a background in hotel sales to include food and beverage management and possess strong leadership skills. You will have the opportunity to participate in our target-based incentives and bonus program of up to 20%.

Job Description:

As the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for our full-service property. You will lead a talented team of sales professionals and work closely with the senior management to achieve revenue and occupancy goals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue from all market segments.

* Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.

* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

* Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and operations, to ensure a seamless guest experience.

* Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.

* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets

* Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to drive revenue growth

* Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients

* Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the industry

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective sales strategies and execution

* Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers

* Provide exceptional customer service and support to maintain strong client relationships

* Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

* Monday to Friday

* Weekends as needed

Experience:

* Senior or DOS Manager: 4 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

* Laredo, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person

Work Experience

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the hospitality industry.

* Strong understanding of the full-service hotel market.

* Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

* Results-oriented with a track record of exceeding sales targets.

* Strong technical sales skills with the ability to understand complex products or services

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members

* Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies

* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth

* Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team

* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)

* Proficient in CRM/PMS software and Microsoft Office Suite-Delphi, OnQ
