As the Director of Sales, you will lead and drive the sales efforts for this property. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and results-driven sales professional to contribute to our continued success and growth.
Position Summary:
The Director of Sales is expected to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability for this 100-key All Suite Hotel. Success in this role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in hospitality sales, Hyatt sales experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute specific sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals for the property.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and community leaders.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop promotional materials and campaigns and manage social media.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and sales missions, as needed.
- Prepare and manage the sales department's budget.
- Report on sales activities and performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a Sales leadership role at a Hyatt Branded full-service Hotel.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations, and events.
- Proficiency REQUIRED in CRM software CI-TY, Opera, TravelClick Suite of products, and Microsoft Office Suite.
