Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Director of Sales. The right candidate will manage all sales activity, escrow closings, and representation to the public. Manage sales projections.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Motivate and coordinate between the departments of Sales, Escrow, Marketing, Construction, Product Development, Land Acquisition, and Mortgage.
- Resolve problems and/or issues pertaining to any department.
- Meet or beat set sales goals.
- Recruit and hire future sales representatives. Train and motivate the sales force.
- Perform a competitive analysis on product, features, and neighborhoods/amenities.
- Work with the Marketing Coordinator/Manager and Division Manager on advertising.
- Work with the agents on all marketing promotions.
- Perform realtor outreach (realtor breakfasts, lunches, office presentations).
- Oversee grand openings and new phases.
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesDirectly manages two or more employees in the Sales & Marketing Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.QualificationsEducation and/or Experience
- Fifth-year college or university program certificate.
- Six to eight years of related experience and/or training.
- Must have a vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- Provide attention to detail and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Possess exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form or via DRH applications.
- Proficiency with MS Office and email.Preferred Qualifications
