Responsibilities
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals and revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and innovative sales approaches.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals. Create individual and team growth and development plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sales operations, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Work with the Team Leads (TL's) and Service Writers (SR's) on a day-to-day basis.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture within the team.
  • Utilize data analytics to assess sales performance, identify trends, and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Develop and present regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics. Monitor performance against forecasts and implement adjustments as needed.
  • Conduct market research and communicate with your sales team to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Utilize insights to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Work closely with sales operations teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales operations and project managers on job submissions, supplements, invoicing and collections to provide resolution.
  • Work with the recruiter to be proactive on hiring requirements.
  • Review performance data regarding new hire retention. Implement adjustments with the recruiter and team leads to improve retention.
  • Create and constantly improve all sales training. Adjust training schedules as needed. Hold all team leads accountable for proper training and following the training SOP.
  • Responsible for sales pipeline management and accountability.
  • Responsible for all sales personnel issues.
  • Coordinate all office and field training, as well as ongoing day-to-day support. Expected to jump in to help when needed, including in the field. Lead from the front.
  • Provide weekly and monthly quota & performance reviews.
  • Develop weekly sales meeting agendas and provide to the team leads.
  • Create and facilitate sales performance contests as needed.Job Requirements
    • Proven experience as a successful Sales Director or in a similar leadership role.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
    • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitor activities.
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
    • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to hold people accountable.
    • Results-oriented with a track record of driving revenue growth.
    • 5+ years' experience in management of teams of over 40 employees.
    • Willing to travel approximately 10-15 days a month and 3-4 longer trips after new storms nationwide. #J-18808-Ljbffr
