Job Description:

We seek an exceptional and results-driven mortgage industry leader to serve as our Director of Sales. This is a high-impact role responsible for driving revenue through sales engagements and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the mortgage industry, strong relationships within the sector, and a proven track record of success in enterprise-level sales. Your role will involve developing and implementing proven sales strategies that can be turned into a sales playbook driven by data-focused processes, ensuring Novaprime's solutions surpass pipeline, revenue, and market expectations while prioritizing an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts related to revenue, including sales and business development, setting clear goals, KPIs, and revenue metrics.

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, lead qualification, product demos, contract negotiation, and closing deals.

  • Drive continuous improvement of sales processes, incentive structures, and forecasting methodologies.

  • Build and maintain deep relationships with industry leaders, top lenders, servicers, and other mortgage ecosystem stakeholders.

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business Operations to align commercial goals with product development and operational readiness.

  • Collaborate with Finance to establish revenue forecasts, budgets, and targets aligned with Novaprime's strategic objectives.

  • Manage and report accurate forecasts and pipelines to business stakeholders.

  • Achievement of annual sales goals on a quarterly and annual basis.

  • Define the key sales support systems/processes required to meet the rapid growth of the business and achieve revenue goals and market development objectives.

  • Various responsibilities and tasks helping Novaprime achieve it's mission of making homeownership more affordable.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of sales experience within the mortgage industry or a closely related vertical (e.g., fintech, banking).

  • Deep knowledge of mortgage origination, servicing, regulatory environments, secondary marketing, or equivalent markets.

  • Proven experience in a quota-carrying role focused on new business acquisitions.

  • Proven track record of closing large enterprise deals.

  • Proven capacity to make data-driven decisions, adapting quickly to market shifts.

  • Extensive track record of new business sales success, including presentation and negotiation skills within the industry.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of managing stakeholders, including investors and senior executives.

  • Strong understanding of sales processes and systems, including CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), CPQ solutions, data, and enrichment vendors.
