Objective of the Role Our client is seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing to lead its US operations and drive growth in the market. The Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive revenue, and expand the company's customer base in the US.
Ideal Profile The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in sales and marketing, preferably within the spirits industry. They should have a proven track record of building and managing successful sales teams, developing and executing effective marketing campaigns, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities - Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth in the US market.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Develop and manage relationships with key accounts, distributors, and trade partners.
- Collaborate with the European HQ and other global teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and product offerings.
- Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activity to inform sales and marketing strategies.
- Plan and execute product launches, events, and promotions to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Manage the US marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the spirits industry preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
