The Hospital Director of Finance Analytics and Decision Support will work with a financially stable hospital that has been servicing the surrounding communities for more than 50 years. The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will be part of a team that strives to provide superlative care by focusing on patients' needs rather than shareholders' demands and by incorporating the latest and proven medical technology and attracting the best medical staff and affiliated physicians.

The Director of Decision Support and Finance Analytics will be managing the creation, direction, and oversight of a technical and analytic team with responsibilities for annual operating and capital budgets, decision support system development and maintenance, business intelligence reporting and analytics, and long-range financial forecasts and plans.

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will work under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to foster metric-driven organizational planning; operate with autonomy in developing work plans, selecting appropriate analytic staff, and assuring the use of best practice business analytics to define and evaluate decisions.

The Hospital Director of Finance Analytics and Decision Support will interact successfully with staff, departmental directors, senior management, and the Finance Committee of the Board. The ideal candidate for Director of Financial Planning and Analysis should have a Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration, ten years of experience in business and financial analytics in the healthcare industry, and five years of management experience.

The Director of Decision Support and Finance Analytics should have strong analytical skills with proven ability to analyze/interpret data and build quantitative models of business opportunities. Experience in market and financial analysis with strong technical experience is required, with an emphasis on data structures and database management as well as data representation. Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and multiple projects including process improvement is also required.

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will provide for sound financial management, effective charge master management, and team building for management staff and analysts that provide technical consulting and support in the areas of OSHPD and CMS Cost Reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, productivity, reimbursement, and business planning.
