Ifyou're up to the challenge, then take a chance at this rewarding opportunity! Position Overview: Under the direction of the CTO, the Director of Security will lead security operations and strategy. The role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the safety and security of our organization. The role will work closely with the Security Analyst. Responsibilities: Develop and implement security policies and procedures to safeguard the organization's assets, employees, and facilities. Provide guidance, and support the team to ensure adherence to security protocols. Advance security roadmap to conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Company's access controls. Stay informed about evolving security threats and industry best practices and provide recommendations for security enhancements and technology investments. Serve as the primary point of contact for security incidents and response, coordinating appropriate actions and communications during crisis situations. Partnering with the infrastructure team, prepare and manage the security budget. Works with the Company Infrastructure team to maintain standards, risk assessments, documentation, and procedures related to security for the information services, business continuity, and disaster recovery environments. Assists in communicating important security developments, escalations, and activities to appropriate personnel, crafting clear and concise communications, and delivering them in a timely manner. Conducts industry research on new and emerging security technologies to enhance and maintain high levels of performance. Drives and responds to technical audits to ensure compliance with security policies and other industry standards. Analyze security tools to identify enterprise standard and ensure compliance across Company IT assets. Performs root-cause analysis on information security related incidents; updates procedures or other controls to stop/mitigate future incidents as well as to determine and implement enhancements to improve security. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (preferred). 10+ years of experience in information security, at least 5 years in a leadership role. Thorough understanding of security operations, risk management, and physical security systems. Proven experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures. Experience with vulnerability mitigation and patch management systems. Experience in conducting security risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
