Director of Software Engineering - Health Research : Job Details

The Director, Software Engineering will direct and oversee the transition of COVID-19 data systems to support endemic, emerging health conditions, infectious diseases, and environmental surveillance, and ensure that data systems developed to support COVID-19 can be sustained and expanded as necessary to support both COVID-19 endemic phase and other outbreak and pandemic. The incumbent will work closely with stakeholders, engineering teams, and other managers to ensure that COVID data systems align with business goals and technical requirements. This position will be responsible for directing, leading and supervising software engineering teams through architecting, designing, building, testing, and implementing innovative services and technical solutions across full stack of COVID-19 data systems The incumbent will encourage innovation and implementation of new technology, and ensure scalable, secure and resilient implementations.
