Director of Staff Education - Bezalel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center : Job Details

Bezalel Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a full time, Director of Staff Education. This position requires an organized, detail-oriented individual with knowledge of nursing re-education and leadership qualities to supervise staff. Candidate must be flexible and dependable, able to work independently & efficiently.

Requirements:

Registered Nursing in New York

Previous Leadership experience in Nursing Home.

Responsibilities:

Schedule and Conduct facility in-services in conjunction with DOH guidelines and clinical needs of the facility

Develop & implement quality education programs to promote staff development; ensure competency

Collaborate with management to assess, integrate, and evaluate educational needs of the facility

Develop, review & update training material as needed

Educate staff on clinical policies and procedures

Conduct new staff orientation

coordinates and facilitates the training of new staff

Provides ongoing in-service education

Conducts competency evaluations for all field personnel

Serve as a resource for both the education and enrichment of trainees and employees

Keeps informed of all Updated DOH and CMS regulations regarding Infection Control Measures and guidance
