Position: Director of Suites & New BusinessLocation: Cincinnati, OHJob Id: 450# of Openings: 1Department: TicketingJob Title: Director of Suites & New BusinessReports To: Sr. Director of Ticket SalesJob Purpose: The Directorof Suites & New Business is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Luxury Suites and New Season Ticket Sales. This is a strategic leader who is accountable, adaptable, and collaborative, with responsibilities including leadership, sales, service, budgets, personnel, and staffing. The ideal candidate will challenge traditional approaches, bringing fresh perspectives and transformative strategies to elevate suites and new season ticket sales.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Revenue Optimization: Develop and execute strategies to maximize suite lease and new season ticket sales revenue.
  • Leadership: Lead and manage the Suites and New Business teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Budget Management: Deliver and exceed annual suite lease and new sales budgets.
  • Operations Oversight: Oversee daily operations of luxury suites, ensuring top-tier guest experiences.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Maintain and elevate service standards to retain and grow suite partnerships.
  • Client Acquisition & Retention: Retain current partners, grow relationships, and acquire new suite clients.
  • Contract & Pricing Strategy: Manage suite contracts and lead pricing strategies to optimize revenue.
  • New Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities aligned with the organization's growth goals.
  • Proposal & Presentation Oversight: Guide the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure new accounts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Innovation: Create, discover, and reapply new ideas and concepts to enhance business operations.
  • Reporting: Provide accurate and actionable reports on projections, performance, and results.
  • Event Planning: Plan and execute events for current and prospective clients.
  • Game Day Responsibilities: Perform significant game day duties to support suite operations and client relations.
  • Other Duties: Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Sr. Director of Ticket Sales.Experience, Education and Licensure:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in sports, business development, sales, or a related field; 3+ years in a leadership role with P&L ownership and experience working with C-level executives.
    • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and active listening capabilities.
    • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM systems is preferred; skilled in data reporting and analysis with attention to detail; proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database management.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
      • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
      • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop actionable, data-driven strategies for growth and efficiency.
      • Communication: Clear and concise communication skills to present complex ideas effectively.

        • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, or hear.
