The Director of Training at HALO Precision Diagnostics is tasked with designing and implementing comprehensive health / genetic training programs aimed at advancing the skills and expertise of Patient Navigators in the areas of genetic testing, compliance, and customer engagement. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Patient Navigators are proficient in the prescreening criteria for genetic diagnostic testing and consistently adhere to industry standards. The Training Director will also oversee a team of trainers.

This role is based primarily remotely but may reside in AZ, CA or FL to support the team(s) in these area.a

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver training sessions on prescreening questionnaires for HALO's genetic testing.

Create and maintain up-to-date training materials, including manuals and e-learning content.

Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.

Collaborate with subject matter experts and department heads to customize training content.

Ensure training programs align with company goals and industry standards.

Oversee a team of remote trainers

Qualifications:

Proven experience in training or instructional roles within genetic diagnostics or a closely related field.

Demonstrated experience in training entry-level medical technology advocates.

In-depth knowledge of genetic testing procedures and relevant industry regulations.

Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA laws and compliance requirements.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and technological skills.

Experience in patient counseling with a focus on clear and empathetic interaction.

Experience managing a new remote team of trainers

Proficient in MS Office Suite, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Microsoft Teams, and video conferencing platforms.

Preferred Skills:

Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPTD, ATD).

Experience with e-learning platforms and instructional design software.
