About the Role This leadership position is crucial to ensuring our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently while supporting our growing demand for electrical, security, and audiovisual solutions. The Director will oversee the management of inventory, logistics, and team leadership. Main Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team of warehouse professionals, fostering an environment of accountability and excellence.
  • Inventory Management: Develop and implement strategies for inventory optimization, ensuring accuracy and minimizing waste.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee the coordination of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, distribution, and inventory management.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Procurement, Sales, and Customer Service, to ensure that warehouse operations align with company objectives.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of warehouse operations and make necessary adjustments.
  • **Additional responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in warehouse operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in electrical, security, or audiovisual sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Technological Proficiency: Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to inspire and lead teams to achieve operational goals.
