This well-respected, full-service, 200 bed non-profit hospital has a Level 3 NICU and has been recognized by U.S. News and World Report and is recognized as a Birthing-Friendly hospital and has a Family-Centered postpartum unit. Reporting to the CNO, the Director of Women and Children's Services will lead an experienced team of Nurse Managers, LDRP, NICU, and Mom and Baby Nurses and support staff. The Director of Women and Children's Services will be well supported by Department Managers, Supervisors, and Charge Nurses. Working with hospital leadership across the organization, the Director of Women and Children's Services will be responsible for managing staff and maintaining the standard of care in the department. The Director of Women and Children's Services will be responsible for guiding nursing practice, hiring, and promoting staff performance improvement initiatives. The Director of Women and Children's Services will oversee the departmental budget and be responsible for the quality improvement of the unit.
