Your opportunity: Schwab's Wealth & Advice Solutions (WAS) organization offers industry-leading wealth management experiences, through solutions like Schwab Wealth Advisory (SWA) and Schwab Advisor Network (SAN), along with a broad range of investment products and solutions, to both retail and registered investment advisor (RIA) clients. Within WAS, the Director, Product Management (Business) will be part of the Strategic Initiatives team. The Strategic Initiatives team plays a critical role in advocating for the voice of the field and our clients while driving forward financial planning initiatives focused on wealth management topics (e.g., tax planning, estate planning, and retirement income). This role requires financial planning content knowledge along with a strong understanding of product development or experience working with digital platforms to enhance our expertise, delivery, and services for both mass affluent and high net worth clients. What you'll do: As the Director of Tax Offer Development (individual contributor), you will: Define the Vision and Strategy: Establish a compelling vision and strategic roadmap for wealth management initiatives at Schwab, aligning with overall business objectivesDevelop and Own the Offer Roadmap: Create and manage the offer roadmap, prioritizing initiatives and allocating resources to achieve strategic goalsDeeply Understand Client and Advisor Needs: Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand the needs, expectations, and pain points of clients and advisors in advice and wealth managementAnalyze the Competitive Landscape and Identify Opportunities: Assess the competitive environment, industry trends, and Schwab's current strengths and weaknesses to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiationDrive Data-Driven Strategic Recommendations: Deliver data-driven recommendations to senior leadership on opportunities to enhance the end-to-end client experience and drive business growthDevelop Business Cases and Define Success Metrics: Design robust business cases, including market sizing, economic analysis, and financial projections, to justify strategic investments.
