Director of Product - RetentionCollective Voice

This position is eligible for hire in our Park Ave South, NY office and our San Mateo, CA office.

SUMMARY

At Collective Voice, our mission is to empower social commerce creators to produce authentic, high-impact content that drives business results through affiliate marketing and brand partnerships. We provide powerful education, tools, personalized analytics, actionable insights, and access to top retailers to ensure creators succeed from day one. This is a critical role that will require close collaboration with leadership, engineering and stakeholders, as well as our business partners in order to own the retention strategy and successful delivery of complex cross functional projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic product leadership of the retention domain, executing on ambitious retention goals across personalization, partnerships, and platform versatility.
  • Develop a post-acquisition roadmap, prioritizing high-ROI experiences and KPIs to meet retention targets, and validate performance through experimentation.
  • Drive product features through the creator lifecycle, providing value at every stage of the journey.
  • Be the expert on Creators, fully understanding their needs, objections, and engagement patterns across cohorts, by leveraging research insights.
  • Manage, coach and mentor a Product Manager and product designers and be a champion of world class product delivery process.
  • Work hand-in-hand with business analytics partners to size opportunities and to determine how to validate hypotheses.
  • Stay apprised of the competitive landscape and the evolving needs of members and merchants.
  • Partner with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Legal and all key stakeholders to define and deliver on a strategy in line with company objectives.
  • Clearly communicate product vision, roadmap, rationale for product decisions and progress on product growth initiatives, and growth learnings to all relevant teams and leadership.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • A growth mindset - Curious, willing to challenge assumptions, and always eager to learn.
  • Experience developing and executing a product strategy by building excitement within the organization, measuring impact, and updating hypotheses as needed.
  • Minimum of 6 years as a product owner managing end to end product lifecycle.
  • Minimum 2 years managing a team of Product Managers.
  • Demonstrated data literacy skills.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong track record of developing and shipping high quality products for desktop and mobile.
  • Expertise in agile development software methodologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree (product design, engineering, computer science or a related field preferred).

At the time of posting, Rakuten expects the base compensation for this role to be within the range shown below. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location. The successful applicant for this role will be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, vision, dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and other employee benefits as the company implements.

USD $138,600.00 - $239,360.00 annually
